ABout the artist
I'm Skye and I'm currently a student in Washington DC. I love photography because it allows me to capture the world around me in a way that reflects how I see it. I enjoy working in a studio and trying different lighting techniques and interesting subjects, but I prefer to photograph real moments that aren't staged. I love traveling and have visited over 30 countries. I like to learn about the cultures of the places I visit and hear stories from the people I meet. I want to capture people and places in a way that accurately represents who they are and not just how an outsider might view them.
I have a background in black and white film photography and can develop my film and print my own pictures. At the moment I am only doing digital work.
